Ada Jane Holcomb Short, 78, widow of Lloyd Dale Short, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, SC.
Ada was born in Cowen, WVA, a daughter of the late Woodrow and Elsie Snyder Holcomb. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her daughter, Lisa Short Riddley (Brian) of Easley, SC; son, Luke Ryan Short of Central; sisters, Erma "Teenie" Holcomb and Verma "Maggie" Holcomb both of Camden on Galey, WVA; 6 grandchildren, Taylor Rose Short and her 3 siblings, Aidan Wayne Ridley and Alaina Grace Ridley; great grandson, Cash Crenshaw; nephew, Andrew Holcomb (Miranda) and their son David of Cowen, WVA.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a number of brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be 2 PM, Friday at Norris Cemetery in Central, SC.
