Adam Wade Wilson

Adam Wade Wilson, a loving husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on September 5, 2023. He was dearly loved and respected by all who knew him. Born on January 28, 1976, in Easley, SC, Adam was the son of the late Jerry Mack Wilson and Joy Bridges Wilson.
Adam's dedication to serving his country led him to join the United States Army, where he served with honor for 14 years. Rising through the ranks to Sergeant, he made significant contributions during his three tours in Iraq. For his exceptional service, he received the Bronze Star, a testament to his bravery and commitment.
Outside of his military service, Adam pursued various interests that brought joy into his life. He had a deep appreciation for music, especially classic country and gospel. Listening to these genres would often bring a smile to his face and warmth to his heart. He also loved spending his time outdoors, as well as reading.
Family was paramount to Adam's life. He adored spending time with his nieces and nephews and took great pride in being a loving grandfather. His nurturing spirit extended to his immediate family as well. He leaves behind his beloved wife Christeana Wilson; son Alex Gabriel Wilson; daughter Emily Wilson; brother Scott Wilson (Beth) of Easley; sister Amanda Powell (Wayne) of Anderson; grandchildren Camber and Callum Evans; and his loving mother Joy Bridges Wilson; and niece and nephew Seth and Holly Ferguson.
In addition to his immediate family, Adam shared deep bonds of friendship with Michael Lockaby and Scotty Wilson. These lifelong friends stood by him throughout life's highs and lows, offering unwavering support and camaraderie.
A visitation will take place on September 10, 2023, from 1:30 PM to 2:15 PM at Georges Creek Baptist Church, located at 1991 Saluda Dam Rd in Easley, SC.
A memorial service in honor of Adam will follow on September 10, 2023, at 2:30 PM at Georges Creek Baptist Church.

Adam Wade Wilson's legacy will live on through the lives he touched and the memories he created. He will forever be remembered for his selflessness, kindness, and dedication to others.
