Addis Bridges Waldrop, 95, formerly of South Sixth Street, wife of the late Olen Benson Waldrop, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Wednesday, December 28, 2011.

Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late W.J. and Florence Harris Bridges, Mrs. Waldrop retired from the Easley Plant of Woodside Mills and was a longtime member of Geer Memorial Baptist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Betty W. Owens of Easley and Nancy W. McLeod (John) of Greenville; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and a daughter-in-law, Kathy Waldrop of Easley. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Waldrop was predeceased by a son, Harold Benson Waldrop, a grandson, Gregory Benson Waldrop and by five sisters and three brothers.

Graveside services will be 3:00 PM Thursday at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be at the graveside immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ark Hospice, 101 Grace Drive, Easley, SC 29640.

The family is at the home of Nancy and John McLeod, 40 Old Rockhouse Road, Greenville, SC 29617.
