Adelbert "Dell" James Collopy, 75, husband of Janelle Templeton Collopy, passed away Monday, April 29, 2019 at his home.
Born in Buffalo, NY, a son of the late Earl Kenith Collopy and the late Dorothy Will Collopy, he was a US Navy veteran who proudly served his Country in the Vietnam War. Mr. Collopy was a retired Aircraft Mechanic for both Boeing and Stevens Aircraft after many years of service. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Greenville and enjoyed racing, fishing, and camping.
Surviving, in addition to his loving wife, are sons, Jason Adam Collopy of Easley, Cody Collopy (Christine) of Westminster, William Grady Bramlett, Jr. of Greenwood, and Todd Ellis Bramlett (Sheri) of Fort Mill; daughters, Donna Marie Pulley (Eddie) of Marietta and Audrey Thorton Galloway of Gray Court; a brother, Robert John Collopy of Kenmore, NY; a sister, Cherylann Collopy Pryor (William) of Irmo; twelve
grandchildren; three nieces; and three nephews.
Mr. Collopy was predeceased by his parents; a daughter, Kimberly Ann Collopy Palmer; and a nephew, David Collopy.
The family will host memorial services at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Christ United Methodist Church in Greenville.
