Adilene Stegall "Petie" Porter, 83, of 141 Prince George Road and wife of Troy Thomas Porter died Saturday January 27, 2007.

Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Ethel Freeman and Edward Walter Stegall, Sr. She was a homemaker and a charter member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband of the home, Mrs. Porter is survived by two daughters, Deborah Crowe and her husband Robert, and Rebecca Glasby, all of Easley; one brother, Edward Walter Stegall, Jr. of Easley; two sisters, Betty Jo Sisk of Easley, Mary Sue Masters of Shelby, NC and three grandchildren, Robbie Crowe and his wife Kelley of Liberty, Tommy Crowe and his wife Mandy of Easley and M.J. Glasby of Easley, and a dear friend and care-giver, Kathy Redding.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by one son-in-law, Ed Glasby; two brothers, Pal and Robert Stegall; and two sisters, Willette S. Jennings and Montez S. Phillips.

Services will be held at 11 AM, Monday in the Chapel Mausoleum of Hillcrest Memorial Park with Rev. Paul Turner officiating.

The family will greet friends immediately following the service in the chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Hill Baptist Church, Bus Fund, 501 Rampey Street, Easley, SC 29640.

The family is at their respective homes.
