Agnes Birgit Tennesen Baer, 95, wife of the late John W. Baer, died Monday, November 10, 2008 at the Alterra Sterling House in Central.
A native of Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Berit Tennesen.
Agnes (Bubs) was a very talented artist, painting many pictures for our family. She loved to play her piano, crocheted many lovely things and played golf. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by a son, John W. Baer III (Margaret) of Maryville, TN; daughters, Lois Blodgett (Jack) of Central; Joan Krise (the late Jerald) of Syracuse, NY, and Nancy Purnell (Matthew) of Ft. Bragg, NC; seven grandchildren, Cindy, Jerry, John IV, Michelle, Jeffrey, Stephen and Jennifer; and ten great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband on August 4, 2008 and her sister, Evelyn Tennesen on April 6, 2006.
Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon, Wednesday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 11 to 12 noon, Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
