Agnes Irene Hawkins Grubbs, 82, of 1850 Crestview Road, wife of the late Sye Grubbs, died Tuesday June 19, 2007 at Palmetto Health Baptist - Easley.
Born in Buffalo, SC, she was a daughter of the late John and Madora Seay Hawkins. Mrs. Grubbs retired from Alice Mfg. Company after 32 years of service.
Surviving are her daughter, Darlene Franklin, of Waynesville, NC ; a son, Benny Grubbs, of Waynesville, NC ; 2 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Saturday June 23, 2007 at 1:00 pm at the United Wesleyan Methodist Church on Hyder Mountain in Clyde, NC conducted by the Reverend Catherine Craine. Burial will follow in Finland Cemetery on Hyder Mountain.
