Agnes Alma Ritchey

October 11, 1934 — April 13, 2021

Agnes "Aggie" Ritchey, 86, wife of Frank Rose Ritchey, passed away April 13, 2021 at Manna Health and Rehab, Pickens.

Born in Uniontown, KY, she was the daughter of the late Virgil and Bessie Hall Cook. Aggie was an insurance adjustor with George Washington Insurance Company. She loved to travel and could make a gourmet meal out of a can of Spam! She was strong in her spiritual faith and was a devoted member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Frank; four children, Marion Franklin (Sue), Cheryl Abrams (Randy), Carol Jane Corley (Rick), and Barbara Gainey; two brothers, Roy Cook and Tom Cook, two sisters, Mary Humphrey and Connie Cook; four grandchildren, April, Sarah, Sam and Richard; six great grandchildren and two step grandchildren, Dawn and Latrisha.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings Ruby Sigler, Virgil Cook Jr, Ruth Ann Cook, Kenny Cook, Nell Householder and Jerry Cook.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 2:00pm at Rock Springs Baptist Church. The family will greet friends following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rock Springs Baptist Church, 201 Rock Springs Road, Easley, SC 29642.
