Aileen Holladay Holden, 96, widow of Ralph Morgan Holden, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at her home in Clemson.
Born in Six Mile, SC, she was a daughter of the late King Fredrick and Alice Hunnicutt Holladay. Aileen was a graduate of Asheville Teacher's College and taught school many years. She loved children, gardening and was an avid reader. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Clemson.
She was survived by daughters, Patsy H. Busch of Clemson, Sandra (Eddie) Reed of Greer, Elizabeth (David) Dunagin of Spartanburg and Cathy (Roger) Pendleton of Clemson; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; a special niece and caregiver, Carolyn Crowe; and many other nieces and nephews.
Aileen was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased in addition to her husband and parents by brothers, Reece Holladay, Dave Holladay, Stiles (Bud) Holladay and Roddie Holladay; sisters, Selma Smith, Drucilla Owen, Alice Holladay, Christine Hayes and Cordilla Holladay; and son-in-law, Steve Busch.

Funeral services will be 3 PM, Monday, October 1, 2018 in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with Hospice Care of South Carolina Chaplain, Jeff Black officiating. Burial will follow in Old Stone Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 PM, Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.
The family will be at their respective homes.
