Alan D. Molloseau, 81, husband of the late Edwina “Winnie” Molloseau, died on Wednesday, January the 14th, 2026.
Born in Flint, Michigan, he was a son of the late Ed Stone and Mary Ryan Molloseau.
Alan was a man who wore many hats throughout his life, each reflecting his deep commitment to his community and his crafts. In Michigan, he served as a police officer in Croswell and a paramedic, while also mastering the trades of tool and die making, painting, and wallpaper installation.
Upon relocating to South Carolina, he and his wife, Winnie, managed the Eagles Rest Bed and Breakfast on the campus of Southern Wesleyan University. His life was defined by a profound devotion to Jesus; he founded a bus ministry at Croswell Wesleyan to serve local children. He served as a Sunday School Superintendent while also leading discipleship classes with Winnie at the churches they attended. A talented singer, Alan, spent years traveling with Winnie to share their faith through music.
Beyond his many professional and ministry callings, Alan was a man of great energy and hands-on skill. In his free time, he could often be found outdoors tending to the yard or in a workshop focused on painting and woodworking. A man of tireless dedication, he was known for his strong work ethic, a quality he took great pride in instilling in his children and seeing passed down through the generations.
Above all else, Alan’s heart belonged to Jesus and his family. He cherished every moment spent with his beloved wife, Winnie, whether they were traveling, singing together, or simply enjoying a good meal—because, as his family fondly remembers, Alan certainly loved to eat. He will be remembered not just for his service, but for his playful spirit as a lifelong trickster who brought joy and laughter to those he loved most.
Alan is survived by his sons; Christopher Alan (Jo) Molloseau of Michigan , Randall David (Melonie) Molloseau of Central and David Jeffery (Marcy) Molloseau of Central, SC; daughters, Ginger Lu Molloseau of Six Mile, and Abigail Ann Molloseau of Central, SC; brother Edward Stone, of Croswell, MI; his grandchildren; Ryan Molloseau, Brittany Molloseau, Christopher Molloseau, Ariana Millspaugh, Tiana Seavey, Nicole Molloseau, Treasure Molloseau, Brady Molloseau, Maria Molloseau, Gabrielle Molloseau and Josie Seavey; and great-grandchildren; Jade Millspaugh, Gemma Millspaugh, Krew Coleman, Imowyn Tyndall, Owyn Tyndall, Brielle Molloseau, Elijah Molloseau, Hailey Molloseau, Mason Smith, Winnie Smith, and MJ Wysock; also many adopted family members such as Paul and Nataliya Wysock, many loving nieces and nephews, in-laws and many other cherished friends and family.
