Aleen Hill Bagwell, 89, of 238 Stancil Street, widow of Walter L. Bagwell, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2007, at Easley Living Center.
Born in Easley, Mrs. Bagwell was a daughter of the late Lewis James (Ludie) and Ada Woodward Hill. A loving and caring Mother, Grandmother and friend to all, she was the retired owner of Ideal Beauty Shop in downtown Easley. Mrs. Bagwell was a member of United Wesleyan Church, where she belonged to the Women's Bible Class.
Surviving are her three children, Rodney Bagwell, Gail B. Caldwell and Deborah S. Bagwell, all of Easley; six grandchildren, Brad Caldwell and wife, Cindy, of Rock Hill, Terri C. LeGrand and husband, Charles, of Greenville, Nick Caldwell and wife, Floride, Lori Norton and husband, Ken, Russell Bagwell, Jay Bagwell and wife, Angela, all of Easley; and fourteen great-grandchildren, Meghan Caldwell, Zac Caldwell, Kenne Norton, Teran Whitfield, Anna Catherine Caldwell, David Norton, Caroline Caldwell, Skyler Bagwell, Mary Helen Caldwell, Savannah Bagwell, Payton LeGrand, Abigail Caldwell, Alexa Bagwell, and Halle Bagwell, all of whom affectionately referred to her as "Ma'leen." In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two brothers, Broadus (Bunker) Hill and Louis J. (Boots) Hill; and a sister, Lois Hill.
Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Monday at United Wesleyan Church. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Escort of Honor will be the Women's and Men's Bible Classes of United Wesleyan Church.
The body is at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown where the family will receive friends from 3:30 to 5:30 P.M. Sunday and will be placed in the church at 2:30 P.M. Monday.
The family is at the home of a grandson, Nick Caldwell, 106 McAlister Lake Court, Easley, S.C. 29642.
