Aleen Elrod Dawkins, 92, of Easley, wife of the late George Wyatt Dawkins, Jr., passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017.
Born in Central, SC, she was a daughter of the late Dewitt and Alice Berry Elrod.
Mrs. Dawkins was retired from the textile industry and was a member of Pendleton Street Baptist Church. She loved her family and friends, enjoyed gardening, solving puzzles and playing bingo.
Surviving are her daughter, Dianne Crawford (Rick Perry) of Campobello, SC; grandchildren, Lisa Alexander (Khol) of Pickens and Michael Crawford (April) of Inman; great grandchildren, Trent, Trevor and Kirk Alexander, and Michael, Mathew and Jacob Crawford; and a great-great granddaughter, Emilee Alexander.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by four siblings.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 4:00 PM in Greenlawn Memorial Park with the Reverend Scott Willis officiating.
The family will be at their respective homes.
