Mr. Alex "Kim" Duncan, 84, of Pickens, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at his residence.


Kim was born in Easley on July 26, 1932 to the late Herman Alex and Maggie Lee Smith Duncan. He was twice married; first to the late Wilma Elise Satterfield Duncan and then to Susan Brookshire. Mr. Duncan enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching NASCAR, and he loved his family. He was a Army National Guard Veteran and a member of Enon Baptist Church. 


Mr. Duncan is survived by a son; Roger Duncan (Pam) of Sunset, SC; three daughters; Patti Lewis (Robby) of Pickens; Brandy Duncan of Seneca; and Amy Fuller (Tim) of Dacusville; two step-children; David Simmons of Rock Hill and Lynn Simmons of Powdersville; three brothers; Donald and Wayne Duncan, both of Easley; and Ronald "Runt" Duncan of Pickens; and three sisters; Elizabeth "Sis" Center of Easley; Ruby Breazeale of Pickens; and Gladys "Cricket" Gilstrap of Liberty. He is also survived by a brother-in-law; Charles Sentell of Pickens; twelve grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. 


In addition to his first wife and his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters; Mary "Monk" Parker and Judy Sentell.


Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 1, 2016 in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown with the Rev. Scott Willis officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Easley.


The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Saturday prior to the service from 12:00 Noon until 1:45 PM.


The family is at the residence.


Flowers are optional, or the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Research, 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 250, Dallas, TX 75244
