Alexander Justin Markham, affectionally known as AJ, a beloved son, brother, fiancé, and friend, passed away on December 22, 2023, in Greenville, South Carolina. Born on February 29, 2000, in Greenville, AJ brought joy and laughter to the lives of those around him.
A naturally charismatic individual, AJ had a personality that radiated warmth and positivity. One of his greatest joys was making people smile. Whether it was through his quick wit or his infectious laughter, he had a remarkable talent for brightening any room he entered. AJ's witty sense of humor and infectious personality endeared him to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. Throughout his life, he was a huge football fan, especially cheering for the Georgia Bulldogs.
AJ is survived by his loving mother, Amy Smith and stepfather James Fuller; his devoted fiancé, Michelle Howard; his caring brothers Adam Markham and Trey Bobby Worley; his cherished sisters Ashley Markham and Destiny Fuller; as well as his beloved grandparents Becky Fricks (Eston) and Evelyn Renfrow (Dwight).
AJ was preceded in death by his father, Alexander Jason Markham and his grandfather Alexander Julius Markham; although gone from this world too soon, they will be reunited in eternal peace.
To know AJ was to love him. His loss is deeply felt by all who knew him. He touched countless lives with his compassion and kindness. To lose someone so full of life is truly heartbreaking.
May we remember AJ for the joy he brought into our lives. May we honor his memory by embracing life's adventures with the same spirit of positivity and love that defined him. As we bid farewell to our dear friend, let us celebrate the impact he had on us all and find solace in the memories we shared.
AJ, you will forever be missed, but your vibrant spirit lives on in our hearts. Rest in peace.
A memorial service to celebrate AJ’s life will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023, in Dacusville, at Life Church, 199 Thomas Mill Road, Easley, SC 29640. TIME TO BE DETERMINED
