Alice K. "Tootise" DeLapp Dill, of Liberty, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at the home of her daughter.
Born in Reidsville, NC, a daughter of the late Royal Stokes and Martha Anne DeLancy DeLapp, Mrs. Dill retired as an insurance clerk with Grove Medical and was a member of Slab Town Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Clifford Dill of the home; three sons, John Allen Kenny IV (Sharon) of Greenville, NC, James Michael Kenny (Kathy) of Candler, NC, and Robert Kyle Kenny (Nema) of Liberty; three daughters, Royal Davis (Tony) of Piedmont, Hope Harrison of Nashville, TN and Diane Bethea of Charleston; a sister Eddie Cora Sizemore; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dill was predeceased by a brother, Royal Stokes DeLapp.
Funeral services will be at 3:30 PM Thursday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road.
Visitation will be from 2:30 until 3:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
The family is at the home of Royal and Tony Davis, 1000 Wren School Road, Piedmont, SC 29673.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Interim Hospice, 775 Spartan Blvd., Suite 101, Spartanburg, SC 29301.
The family would like to expressed their special appreciation and love to Dawn Bethea Goyau for the care she gave to her grandmother.
