Alice Patricia Gordon Eagen, 91, of 301 Lutsen Drive, wife of the late William Edward Eagen, died Saturday, May 15, 2010, at her home.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of the late Francis and Mary Cranley Gordon, Mrs. Eagen retired as a medical secretary for Dr. William Eddy. She was of the Catholic faith having attended St. Jude's in Eugene, OR, St. Barnabus in Long Beach, CA, and St. Paul's in Seneca.

Surviving are three daughters, Mary Eagen of Beaumont, TX, Colleen Mironchik-Eagen of Easley, and Patricia Burks of Lone Wolf, OK; five sons William Eagen of Easley, Michael Eagen of Los Angeles, CA, Edward Eagen of Columbia, Brian Eagen of Eugene, OR, and John Eagen of Long Beach, CA; grandchildren, Kevin Borem, Ryan Borem, Katie Eagen, Allison Turner, Joseph Eagen , Patrick Eagen, Lisa Charters, Kristi Burks, Jamie Eagen, Kelly Eagen, Arthur Eagen, Jessica Eagen, Gary Burks and Carrie Eagen; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; Nephews Charles Gore and James Osborn; a niece, Helen Osborn. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Eagen was predeceased by a son, Thomas G. Eagen.

The Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Seneca with Father Bernarde officiating.

The family would like to acknowledge Paula Walsh of Anderson, SC, who was a devoted friend for over 20 years and who is an Eucharistic Minister at St. Pauls and to Harmony Care Hospice.

The family is at the residence in Easley.
