Martha Alice Watson McGraw, 79, of 7 Birch Place, Clemson, died Thursday, February 16, 2012 at her home.
Born in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late David Joseph and Lucile Burriss Watson. She was a retired administrative assistant in the former College of Nursing at Clemson University and was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Clemson. She attended both Furman University and Clemson University. Along with her parents, Alice was among the founding members of the Pendleton Historic Foundation.
Surviving are her husband, John William "Bill" McGraw of the home; two cousins William Davis Kelly of Anderson and Richard Kelly of Yardley, PA.
Funeral services will be 2 PM, Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Clemson. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery on the campus of Clemson University.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, Monday at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central-Clemson Commons, Central, SC.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Pendleton Historic Foundation, P.O. Box 444, Pendleton, SC 29670 or to the Clemson University School of Nursing.
