Alice Margaret Beer Taylor, 78, of Easley and widow of Joseph Franklin Taylor, died Monday, October 17, 2011 at Majesty Health and Rehabilitation in Easley.

The daughter of the late Clair A. and Mabel A. (Smith) Beer, she was born in Idamar, PA.

She was a 1953 graduate of Marion Center High School in Marion Center, PA and was a avid churchgoer. She won ribbons for her delicious homemade bread and a blue ribbon in the South Carolina State Fair for her creative plastic canvas.

She represented what a loving and caring person should be by her many friends, near and afar, and through her family. During her life she often dealt with unbearable situations but her strong-will and fierce determination she was always able to endure, no matter what. She never allowed negativity to carry on for long and was especially known for her optimism and candid sense of humor, often telling many jokes. She was and will always be an inspiration to all who knew her.
