Allan Joe "Joey" Bryant, 39, of 604 South Fifth Street, died Friday, April 25, 2008, at Anderson Area Medical Center.
Born in Easley, Mr. Bryant was a son of Rachel Snipes Bryant of Liberty, and the late Michael Dale Bryant. He was formerly employed as a mechanic with Specialty Trux in Greenville and was a member of Pendleton Street Baptist Church. He was a certified scuba diver.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife, Ann Ramey Bryant of the home; a son, Ryne Bryant of the home; two daughters, Amber Bryant and Irene Bryant, both of the home; a brother, Buddy James Bryant, of Marion, N.C.; and his grandmother, Irene Snipes of Liberty.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with the Rev. Scott Willis officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Allan Joe Bryant Fund, c/o Robinson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 387, Easley, SC 29641.
