Alpha Young Alexander, 74, of 208 Pine Street, went home to be with the Lord Friday April 6, 2007 at Palmetto Health Baptist - Easley.
Born in Liberty, she was a daughter of the late Tommy and Ora Kelly Young. She was a homemaker, member of Senior Citizens Unlimited, and of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are her husband, Marvin Alexander of the home; two daughters, Tammy Williams and her husband Keith and Kelley McKittrick, both of Easley; one sister, Millie Young Burrage and her husband Jim of Meridian, MS; two stepsons, Jerry McKittrick of Bethel, NC and Larry McKittrick of Townville, SC; two stepdaughters, Shelby Merck of Clemson and Sherry Lopez of Easley; three grandchildren, Nathan, Brittney and Amanda; one great-grandchild, Alyssa; three step grandchildren; and five step great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by two husbands, Fred McKittrick and Kenneth Brooks.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday April 9, 2007 at Robinson Funeral Home ~ Downtown with the Reverends Charlie Bishop and Greg Thornhill officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The family is at the residence, 208 Pine Street, Easley and will receive friends Monday from 10:00 until 11:00 at the funeral home, prior to the service.
