Alpha Mary Monke Stark, 93, of 205 Bud Nalley Drive, wife of the late John Henry Stark, passed away Friday, July 1, 2016.
Born in Weinert, TX, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Pearl Albright Monke.
Mrs. Stark was retired as a Registered Nurse from Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital in Tarpon Springs, FL. She was a member of Easley Presbyterian Church and The Garden Club in Tarpon Springs, FL. She loved her family and friends, and enjoyed the gift of sewing and crocheting.
Surviving are her children, Sharon Lee Stark (Dr. Jim Mahanes) of Pickens, Michael John Stark (Mary Ann) of Shelby, NC and Dr. Stephen Henry Stark (Laura) of Hernando, FL; grandchildren, Amy Leigh Stark, Jonathan Bradley Stark, James Michael Stark, Jacquelin Rae Stark and Chance Henry Mahanes; great grandchildren, Brody Samuel Stark, Luke Bradley Stark, Ronan Gage Stark and Isaiah Stark.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, July 8, 2016 at Foothills Presbyterian Home in Easley, with Rev. Christie Gravely officiating.
