Alwina T. King

Alwina Tilley King of Easley, South Carolina entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 3, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Morganton, North Carolina, the daughter of the late James Harold Tilley and the late Ora Belle Setzer Tilley. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Pless.

She was a loving wife, mother, and friend to many. She was also a retired realtor and a member of Tremont Church of God. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends. To Know her was to love her and she will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Left to cherish Alwina’s fond memories are her devoted husband, Jerry V. King; a loving son, Alan Hallyburton; and her brother, Warren Tilley. Numerous friends, nieces and nephews also survive.

A memorial service to honor Alwina’s life will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home – 1425 Powdersville Rd., Easley, SC 29642. You are cordially invited to join the family in celebrating the life of Alwina Tilley King. “A life well lived”.

Her devotion to her loved ones was unwavering, and her presence will forever remain a cherished treasure within their hearts. She will always be remembered for her unwavering love and her kind heart.
