Alyvia Annette Christie

Oct 30, 2013 — Sep 6, 2026

Easley

Alyvia Christie, 12, of Easley, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2026. She was the beloved daughter of Alan and Angel Christie.

Alyvia was a bright, creative, strong-willed, and deeply caring young lady whose imagination made the world around her more colorful. She attended Dacusville Middle School where she was deeply loved by many of her classmates, teachers and friends. She enjoyed drawing, coloring, crafting, crocheting, making bead jewelry, swimming, and creating toys and dragon puppets from paper and tape. Through her YouTube channel, @Shadow_w0lf, Alyvia created, edited, and shared dragon-puppet videos featuring her own unique characters and stories.

Alyvia was known for her kindness, generosity, quick wit, dry sense of humor, and expressive eyes. She cared deeply for others and treasured time spent with her friends and family. She loved swimming, bowling, park trips, sleepovers, and making memories with the people she loved.

She also found strength and confidence through martial arts. After 10 months of determined practice, Alyvia earned her yellow belt by breaking the required board. She showed the same perseverance and courage throughout her journey with poorly differentiated Chordoma, a rare bone cancer which affects about 1 in 1 million. Her strength, resilience, and fighting spirit touched all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Alyvia is survived by her brother, Dakota Pallos; her sister, Breawna Christie; her nephew, Arsen Kilbarger; her grandmother, Helen Baucher; and multiple loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, classmates, teachers, and members of her martial arts family.

She was preceded in death by grandparents, Harden and Susan Hinkle and her grandfather, Charles Baucher.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Friday, September 18, 2026, at Robinson Funeral Home—Downtown, Easley. A funeral service will take place at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Easley Presbyterian Church, with burial to follow at Robinson Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made in Alyvia’s memory to the Pickens County School District at 1348 Griffin Mill Road, 29640, Attn: Finance Department or to https://gofund.me/0a28cfe32

Alyvia will be remembered for her courage, creativity, compassion, humor, fierce determination, and the beautiful way she loved the people around her.
