Mrs. Amelia Howard Burger, 79, of 1231 White Rd., wife of Charles R. Burger, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2011 at her home.
Born May 30, 1932 in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late James and Mary Linder Howard, Mrs. Burger was a retired seamstress and a member of Carolina Heights Christian Fellowship.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Linda Riddle of Easley, Phyllis Real of Greenville and Carol Fulford of Easley; sons, Randy Burger and Stephen Burger both of Piedmont; sisters, Carolyn Clark of Simpsonville, Louise Brownlee of Greenville and Sylvia Haase of Virginia Beach, Virginia; a special niece Paulette Christian of Greenville; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Latham Howard and Lewis Howard.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Carolina Heights Christian Fellowship. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 1:45 PM Wednesday prior to the service at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Carolina Heights Christian Fellowship Children�??s Program, 2900 Anderson Rd., Greenville, SC 29611.
