Andrew Hayes, 82, of 502 Fox Valley Road, died Thursday, July 12, 2007 at his residence.
Born in Hellertown, PA, a son of the late Slavo and Anna Ondracek Hayes, he was a retired road supervisor for Lower Saucon Township in Pennsylvania, a member of St. John's Concordia Lutheran Church and was a US Navy veteran of WWII.
Surviving are a daughter, Margie Beckett and husband Rodger of Easley; a son, Andrew Hayes, Jr. of Winston-Salem, NC; two brothers, Thomas Hayes of Chads Ford, PA and John Hayes of Florida; grandchildren, Natalie, Mallory, and Ridgley Beckett and Alexandra Hayes.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Terry Bugnitz Hayes; two brothers, Victor Hayes and Martin Hayas; and five sisters, Lucille Schrier, Francis Medei, Mary Szuchy, Rose Schrier and Anna Pulley.
Private family services were held at the Easley Presbyterian Church with Reverend Dr. Bill Seel officiating.
Inurnment will be held at Robinson Memorial Gardens, Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642.
The family requests no flowers, however, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
