Andrew Seawright Rampey, 90, husband of the late Eva Nelle Evatt Rampey, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Capstone Health and Rehab.
Born in Anderson County, a son of the late W.G. and Louise Brown Rampey. Mr. Rampey retired from J.P. Stevens in Greenville, was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Mt. Airy Baptist Church.
Mr. Rampey was the last surviving member of his immediate family. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Rampey was predeceased by a daughter, Rhoda R. Young; five brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 5, 2012 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
