Andrew Edwin "Ed" Teasley, 86, of 1212 Cely Road, died Wednesday December 12, 2007 at his home.
Mr. Teasley was born in Lincolnton, Georgia, a son of the late John Isham Teasley, Sr. and Nancy Brown Teasley. He was a self-employed tool jobber and a U.S. Army - Air Force Veteran of W.W. II. He was a member of the Lions Club in Hepzebah, Georgia and St. Mark United Methodist Church in Augusta, Georgia.
Surviving are his wife, Molly T. "Beth" Allen Teasley, of the home; a daughter, Janice Wirgau and her husband, Warren, of Park Ridge, Illinois; step-sons, Robert W. Gaudet, Jr. and his wife, Carol, of Orange, Texas and Donald R. Sharpe, II and his wife, Melanie, of Tomball, Texas; a step-daughter, Jina Winkler and her husband, Robert, of Rock Hill, SC; a brother, John I. Teasley, Jr., of Augusta, Georgia; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Josephine Argo.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday at St. Mark United Methodist Church in Augusta, Georgia with the Reverends Dane Wagner, Bob Gillespie and Joe Argo officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Augusta, Georgia.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the church, prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to St. Mark United Methodist Church in Augusta, Georgia.
