Angela Renee Mono Oglesby of Central, SC, peacefully passed away on March 6th, 2024, at the age of 48– following a courageous health battle, in which she was not able to overcome.
She was the beloved wife of Dexter B. Oglesby.
Angela, known as “Angie,” was born in Easley, SC, to Robert John and Susan Rivers Mono, of Pendleton, SC. Angie attended D.W. Daniel High School and later obtained an Associate’s Degree from Tri-County Technical College, in Medical Administration Coding & Data. Angie showcased her leadership skills as the former district manager of Subway located in Central and Liberty areas. Angie also was respected during her time working for American House & Spinning.
In her free time, Angela found joy in jogging, fishing, and spending time outdoors. She also loved to cook for her beloved family, and avidly following and attending Clemson Sporting events. Angela will be remembered for her vibrant smile and spirit, her total selflessness, kind heart, and unwavering love for her family.
She is survived by her husband, Dexter B. Oglesby, her parents Robert John and Susan Rivers Mono, her children Eric John Oglesby (Charleston, SC), Kareena Rochelle Oglesby (Central, SC), Brooklyn Mono Oglesby (Six Mile, SC) her brothers, Brian Mono (Watertown, NY), Brad Mono (Pendleton, SC), Robert “Bobby” Mono and wife, Yolanda Mono (Charleston, SC) as well as Todd Mono (Vero Beach, FL), and numerous nieces, nephews, and loved ones.
Funeral services to celebrate Angela’s life, will be held at 1:00pm, on Saturday March 9th, 2024, at the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with Rev. Russell Oglesby presiding. Prior to service, a visitation will take place from 11:30am-12:50pm, on Saturday as well, also at the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.
