Mrs. Angela Clark Merritt, 50, wife of Dean Edward Merritt, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2017 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Greenville County, a daughter of Martha Shaw Clark of Easley, and the late Rev. Nelson T. Clark, Mrs. Merritt received her associate degree in nursing from Greenville Technical College and was most recently employed as the Director and RN of Active Day of Liberty. She was a member of NewSpring Church.
Angela loved animals, and enjoyed working in her flower garden and camping with her family.
Surviving, in addition to her husband of twenty-four years, are two daughters, Kayleigh Olivia Merritt and Kendall Merritt Tallon (Levi), all of Easley; a granddaughter, Addiline Grace Tallon of Easley; a sister, Andrea Clark Morton (Spencer) of Easley; a sister-in-law, Wanda Merritt of Brighton, CO; two nephews, Connor Morton of Atlanta, GA and Nathan Morton of Easley; and a niece, Madelyn Morton of Easley.
Funeral services will be 7:30 PM Thursday, April 20, 2017 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, with Rev. Bob Keely officiating. Private burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 5:15 PM until 7:15 PM Thursday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
