Angela Motes

Angela Denise Gilbert Motes, 48, wife of Travis Motes, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022.

Born in Easley, a daughter of the late Danny Ray Gilbert and the late Patricia Atkins Aiken, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend who enjoyed shopping, Clemson sports, her dogs, and spending time with her family. She was a member of Blue Ridge View Baptist Church in Pickens.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Brittany Spearman of Boiling Springs and Carlee Motes of Troy, NY; a sister, Melissa Krieger (Mark) of Belton; a brother-in-law, Austin Motes (Melissa) of Greenville; a granddaughter, Adalynn Lusk; Father-in-law, Ray Mosteller and mother-in-law, Debbie Mosteller of Easley; a mother-in-law, Ginger Motes; her best friend, Donna McCraw and her children, Jordan and Janah Fowler; nieces, Makayla Anderson (Jake), Mackenzie Smith (Bailey), Makaitlyn Krieger, Makarley Krieger, and Emersyn Motes; nephews, Robbie Smith, Joey Smith (Stephanie), Cooper Smith, Joseph Krieger, Gabriel Krieger, and Everette Motes; and bonus children, Mikayla Lusk (Matt) and Hunter Spearman.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Bethany Spearman; her sister, Pamela Smith; father-in-law, Danny Motes; and her grandmother, Louise Parker.

Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, December 1, 2022 at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
