Ann Loftis Bass, 79, of 310 Elmwood Street, wife of the late Charles Eddy "Chuck" Bass, passed away Friday, January 20, 2012 at The Willow�??s of Easley.
Born in Spartanburg County, the daughter of the late Joseph A. Loftis and the late Sarah Burrell Loftis McClure, Mrs. Bass retired from International Paper and Lockheed Corp. and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are a son, Mike Bass and wife, Kathy, of Easley; two daughters, Sharon Davis and husband, Mike, and Janice Blanton and husband, John, all of Easley; a brother, Joseph Loftis of Easley; six grandchildren, Jennifer Cleveland and husband, Ray, Jonathan Davis, Morgan Bass, Christopher Blanton and wife, Brittany, Cameron Blanton and Cody Blanton; and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Monday at Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley.
Visitation will be at the graveside immediately following the service.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of the Willow�??s and to a special friend, Margaret Barr, to all the special sitters who helped care for Mrs. Bass, and to the staff of Hospice of the Upstate.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
Family members are at their respective homes.
