Ann Gillespie Cooke, 80, of 72 Laurel Drive, Midway, GA, formerly of Easley, and wife of the late Thurlie Dan "Jet" Cooke, died Sunday, February 5, 2006, in Savannah, GA.
Born in Charlotte, NC, the daughter of the late Robert G. and Mae Gunthorpe Gillespie, Mrs. Cooke retired from Easley Baptist Hospital (now Palmetto Health Baptist Easley) as a medical secretary, and was a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Ronald Cooke and his wife, Shirley of FL, Thurlie Dan Cooke, Jr., of VA, and Robert G. "Bo" Cooke and his wife, Fran, of GA; four daughters, Susan Oliver and her husband, Robert, of Easley, Bobbie Davis and her husband, Harry, of Belton, Nancy Rogers of IL, and Donna Alexander and her husband, Blake, of Easley; eleven grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown, Easley with Rev. Andy Bullions officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels; 309 East Cedar Rock Street; Pickens, SC 29671
