Ann Williams Fowler

Ann Williams Fowler, 93, of Easley, South Carolina, wife of the late John H. Fowler, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024.

Born on December 27, 1930, in Clinton, South Carolina, a daughter of the late James B. and Bruna Bridges Williams. Ann graduated from Winthrop University with a degree in Home Economics and later graduated from Furman University with a degree in Library Science. She retired from the School District of Pickens County after 37 years of service as a teacher and librarian. Ann was active in the Women's Club of Easley for 50 years and was a member of Easley First United Methodist Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher. In her free time, she enjoyed socializing with her friends and was an avid reader.

Ann is survived by three nephews, David Bonds, Richard Bonds (Shannon), and Steve Bonds; a niece, Joy Bonds; four great-nephews, Jack, Harrison, Jeffrey, and Choppy Bonds; and a great-niece, Rachel Bonds.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Jean Bonds; and a nephew, James Bonds.

The family will receive friends at Easley First United Methodist Church on Thursday, January 18, 2024, from 11:00 AM until 11:45 AM followed by a funeral service at 12:00 noon in the Church Sanctuary. Burial will be private.
