Ann Bagwell Gastley, 70, loving wife of Wayne Frank Gastley, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday, November 6, 2016.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late James Perry Bagwell and the late Vera Patterson Bagwell, Mrs. Gastley retired as a Medical Transcriptionist with the Greenville Hospital System and Pathology Associates of Greenville, with over forty years of service. Ann had a passion for camping, loved spending time with her family and was affectionately known as Nana. She was an active member of Jones Avenue Baptist Church and a member of the New Beginnings Sunday School Class.
Surviving, in addition to her husband of fifty-two years, are two daughters, Teresa Ingram and her husband Frankie of Sunset, SC and Jennifer Smith and her husband, Timmy of Easley; a brother, Tommy Bagwell of Easley; a sister, Clara Hunter of Liberty; four grandchildren, Brooke and John Ingram, and Brenley and Bryson Smith; and her beloved dog, Skip. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gastley was predeceased by a brother, Roy Bagwell; and two sisters, Carol Bagwell and Sara Ray.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Jones Avenue Baptist Church with Rev. Zach Shaw officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
