Mrs. Lois Ann Christopher Nicholson, 90, wife of the late Rev. Joseph Robert Nicholson, Sr., went to be with the Lord and Savior Sunday, February 5, 2023.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Gilliland Bly "G.B." Christopher and the late Fronie Leona Ferguson Christopher, Mrs. Nicholson was a homemaker and a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church.
Ann was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, who was full of love for everyone. She was a gentle Christian woman that loved the Lord, and always testified that life is not fair, but God is good. Ann will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her.
Surviving are her sons, William Christopher Nicholson of Easley, Joseph Robert "Bobby" Nicholson, Jr. (Edie) of Aiken, and Daniel Warren Nicholson (Tracey) of Berea; two brothers, Joe Chistopher (Barbara), and Tommy Christopher, both of Easley; a sister, Geneva Masters of Gaffney; seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Nicholson was predeceased by her daughter, Robin Turner; two brothers, Howard "Curly" Christopher and Lloyd Christopher; two sisters, Edith Bynum and Agnes Christopher; and a daughter-in-law, Gail Rampey Nicholson.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 8, in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM at the funeral home, prior to the service.
