Ann Mae Alexander Watson, 87, of 200 Watson Road, wife of the late Roy L. Watson, died Saturday, November 24, 2007, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

A native of Six Mile, she was a daughter of the late Oscar and Leora Bell Alexander. She was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church for over 60 years and the Webb Pepper Sunday School Class. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her biggest joy was having her family over every Sunday for dinner which she prepared. She loved flowers and gardening. In her earlier years, she worked at Swirl, Inc. and Lowdnes Products. After the passing of her husband in 1986, and until her death, she was Vice-President of Marion Davis Inc.

Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert A. and Hope of Easley, C. Greg and Tamela of Liberty; two grandchildren, Brian Watson and wife Wendy, Brad Watson and fiancee' Jennifer Nix; great-grandson, Daniel; brother, Bud Alexander of Six Mile; and four sisters, Ellen Stokes of Tennessee, Mary Young, Sue Cox, and Martha McAbee, all of Six Mile. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son, Steven L. Watson; brothers Charlie and Claude Alexander; and sisters, Nina Alexander and Grace Gibson.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with the Reverends Dave Shorter and Robert Bevill officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Escort of Honor will be the Webb Pepper Sunday School Class and the employees of Marion Davis, Inc.

The body is at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown and will be placed in the church at 12:30 Tuesday where the family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:00 PM.

The family is at the home of Bob and Hope Watson, 116 Birch Meadow Road; Piedmont, SC 29673.

Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to the Cemetery Fund of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church; 101 Pisgah Road; Easley, SC 29642.
