Mrs. Anna Young Mauldin, 62, of 624 Roosevelt Drive, passed away Monday, July 4, 2011, at her home.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Gartrell A. and Irene Boggs Young, Anna retired from Fort Hill Natural Gas and was later employed with Robinson Funeral Home. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Danny Mauldin of the home; two daughters, Angela "Danielle" Toby (Jeff) and Alisha Mauldin Wood (B.J.), all of Liberty; three brothers, Ron Young (Shelia), Sam Young (Patricia) and David Young (Judy), all of Easley; two sisters, Margaret Childress (Bob) and Faye Scammahorn (Dean), all of Easley; and three grandchildren, Owen and Logan Wood, and Natalie Toby. In addition to her parents, Anna was predeceased by a brother, Joe Young and by a sister, Rebecca Irene Young.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2011 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Randy Smith and Rev. Greg Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family is at the residence.
