Anna Kudzma Pivorun, 103, widow of Broni Pivorun and formerly of Pendleton, died Sunday, April 2, 2017 in Central, SC.
Born in Worcester, Mass, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Malvina Borisuite Kudzma. Her parents returned to their homeplace in Lithuania when she was still a child. She returned to the USA in 1937 when the Russians forced Americans and others out of occupied Lithuania. Upon returning to the USA, she had to learn English as a new language. She married her husband Broni in 1944 and moved to her new home in Nashua, New Hampshire. She was a dedicated mother and wife. Ever courageous she moved to South Carolina in her 90's. She was a talented cook, seamstress, gardener and creator of needle arts. Anna was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Clemson, SC.
Surviving are a son, Edward B. (Phyllis) Pivorun of Clemson; and daughter, Joan (William) Pivorun-Wehrle of Ballston Lake, NY.
Burial will take place in New Hampshire at a later date.
She will be deeply missed.
