Annabelle Orr Hawkins

Annabelle Orr Hawkins, 86, of Syracuse Road, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, December 25, 2017 at Brookdale Easley.

Born in Greenville, Anna was the daughter of the late Otis McKay and Leona Childress Orr. She was preceded in death by her husband James Edward Hawkins in 2002.
Mrs. Hawkins retired from JP Stevens and was a member of Mt. Airy Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years.

Surviving are her son, Jerry Hawkins, of Easley; a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and David Boyce, of Easley; two grandchildren, Rachel Boyce and Adam Boyce; and a brother, Paul Orr, of Easley.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brothers, John, Melvin, Carroll and Harold.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 2:00pm at Mt. Airy Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Wilton Bolding. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The body is at Robinson Funeral Home, and will be placed in the church Thursday at Noon, where the family will receive friends from 12:30pm - 1:45pm prior to the service.
