Anne Biesterfeld

December 24, 1948 — November 21, 2024

Anne Biesterfeld, born on December 24, 1948, entered her heavenly home with JESUS on November 21, 2024. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who had a knack for making people feel special. Anne poured her heart into teaching the Bible to kids, spending countless weeks with the Rural Bible Crusade, and in Sunday school. She had a unique way of connecting with children, often using stories and crafts to bring important lessons to life.

Anne was married to Lawrence Biesterfeld, Jr. for an incredible 50 years. Despite not knowing anything about farm life, Anne joined Larry on the dairy farm for the first 4 years. They created a life filled with love and laughter. Anne always showed incredible determination to accomplish the tasks in front of her, including having to teach stubborn calves how to drink. She would sit on them and make them drink! Those calves never had a chance to rebel!

Baking was another passion of Anne’s. She loved whipping up cakes and cookies, and her creations were a hit at family gatherings and church events. One memorable baking event was when she made 11 individual cakes for a graduation celebration. Anne had a special touch in the kitchen, and her treats always brought smiles to those around her. When many of her Sunday School students went off to college she made comforters to take along with them.

Even when life became more challenging, and she spent 16 years chair bound, Anne’s spirit never waned. She found joy in sending homemade cards to friends and family, always adding a personal touch that made each card feel like a warm hug. Her thoughtfulness was a testament to her character and how much she cared for those in her life.

Anne is survived by her husband, Lawrence Jr.; her daughter, Joy; three grandchildren, Wesley, Evelyn, and Noel; as well as her three siblings Carol (Bob) Engler, Melody (Mark) Schwartz, and Bob (Sharon) Conjurske. She is preceded in death by her Parents, John and Betty Conjurske; brother Glen (Sharon) Conjurske,; In-laws (Lawrence Sr.) and Kathleen Biesterfeld; and Brother in law Orville (Beverly) Boos.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:15 PM on Monday, November 25, 2024 at Robinson Funeral Home – Powdersville Road. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the chapel. Burial will follow the service in Robinson Memorial Gardens.

She will be deeply missed, but her kindness, faith, and the many joyful moments she shared with others will always be remembered. Anne left a mark on everyone she met, and her spirit will continue to inspire those who knew her.
