Anne Neill Caughman Campbell, 82, wife of Thomas A. Campbell, III passed away Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Oconee Memorial Hospital.
Anne Neill was born in Columbia, SC, the daughter of the late Frank Leon and Mary Neill Manning Caughman. She was a 1958 graduate of Columbia College and taught in the public school system until married. Although she chose to give up her teaching career, Anne Neill was very active in her community as well as teaching Sunday school in the various churches she belonged. She was a member of Clemson Presbyterian Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are daughters, Sallye Lucas (Matthew) of Flat Rock, NC and Laurie Wilson (Michael) of Canton, GA; son, Thomas A. Campbell, IV (Beth) of Clemson; sister, Orianna Scott (Sammy) of Raleigh, NC; sister-in-law, Mary Verner Philhower (Louis) of Macon, GA; grandchildren, Matthew Wilson, Stephen Wilson, Christopher Wilson, Ana Wilson, Graham Lytch, Grant Lytch, Alexis Krider, Elizabeth Campbell, Thomas A. Campbell, V, Samuel Lucas, Mary Neill Lucas, Allie Manning Lucas and Anne Campbell Lucas; and great grandchildren, Magnolia Wilson, Ranger Wilson and Glorianne Lytch.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Anne Manning Lytch.
Memorial Services will be 2 PM, Wednesday at Clemson Presbyterian Church with the family receiving friends immediately following at the church.
Private committal services will be held in Old Silverbrook Cemetery in Anderson.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Clemson Presbyterian Church.
