Annie Pace Allen, 81, of 124 Shubuta Dr., wife of the late Robert Allen, Sr., passed away Sunday, April 24, 2011 at Oakmont East Nursing Center.
Born August 22, 1929 in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Lucien and Lenora Arnold Pace. She was a homemaker and a member of Maranatha Pentecostal Holiness Church.
She is survived by her children, Rev. Robert Allen, Jr. (Pamela) of Greenville, Sherry Clardy of Piedmont, Bobbi Lynn Ferguson of Greenville, and Kimberly Albaugh (Steve) of Oklahoma; sisters, Myrtle Anthony of Pickens, and Ruby Stancell of Greenville; grandchildren, Shane Allen, Dana Hart, Deonza Adkerson, Josh Strickland, and Crystal Gabriel; 12 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her grandchildren, Steven Allen, Nathan Allen, and Angela Ferguson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 27, 2011 in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
