Annie Belle Grissom “Anne” Hendricks, 86, formerly of Easley, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Friday, April 8, 2016.
Born in Humboldt, TN on April 27, 1929 to the late William Herman and Frances Singleton Grissom. After her mother died when Annie was 13 months old, she was raised by the late Mitchell Louis Dalton, Sr. and Annie Estelle Singleton Dalton, her mother's sister.
Mrs. Hendricks was formerly employed with MacShore Classics in Greenville and Swirl Inc. in Easley, as one of their Sample Makers, until their closing. She then had an alteration business, Anne's Alterations, in her home until retiring to care for her husband, Gordon.
Anne was a faithful member of Glenwood Wesleyan Church for 40 years.
Surviving are her children, Frances Elliott (David) of Taylors, Barry Smith (Jane) of Easley and Don Smith (Sabra) of Woodruff; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and eleven great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Gordon Hendricks; a daughter, Linda Diane Crain; a son, John Charles Mullen and seven brothers, Charles, James and Junior Dalton, James, Everett, Bill and Louis Grissom.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of NHC Greenville, for their kind and loving care.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 11, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Glenwood Wesleyan Church in Easley with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Greer.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:45 PM until 1:45 PM in the church sanctuary.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Glenwood Wesleyan Church, 403 Hagood Street, Easley, SC 29640.
The family will be at their respective homes.
