Annie Fendley Looper, 101, of Dacusville, wife of the late John Milton Looper, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2017.
Born on December 31, 1915 in the Cross Roads Community, she was a daughter of the late James Franklin Fendley and Lula Jane Julian Fendley.
"Granny Gran" a loving nickname given to her by her son, Wayne, was retired from Stone Manufacturing. She was a lifelong member and the oldest member of Cross Roads Baptist Church. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed, fishing, gardening, sewing and growing beautiful flowers.
Surviving are her children, Jane Looper Hipp (Bill Watkins), Sue Looper Robinson (Bill) and JB Looper (Mary); grandchildren, Tom Hipp (Susan), Beverly Hipp Dickson (Mike), Tim Robinson (Ruby), Donna Bickle (Ken), Tony Robinson (Tammy), Jimmy Looper (Cheryl), Cheri Capell (Bob); great grandchildren, Andy Robinson (Casey),Nicholas Robinson (Fiancee Morgan), Jill Landers (Will), Sam, Eric and Grant Robinson, Casey Bickle (Brittney), Jameson Looper, Mary Katherine Capell, Ben Capell, Caroline Capell and Emily Capell; great-great grandchildren, Kennadi, Pressley, Alden and Emory; and a daughter-in-law, Sybil Looper.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Wayne Fendley Looper; a son-in-law, Edgar Hipp; two sisters; and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Cross Roads Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday from 1:30 pm until 2:45 PM.
Pallbearers will be the grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be the great grandchildren.
The family will be at their respective homes.
