Annie Ruth Crenshaw Perry, 83 of 313 Barnette Road, died Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at her home.
Born in Pendleton, SC, she was a daughter of the late Hamilton and Nevada Black Crenshaw. Annie Ruth was a retired dental assistant in the office of Dr. Joseph Beard, DMD in Anderson. She was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church where she was the church musician for over 55 years.
Surviving are her husband of 69 years, George Truett Perry of the home; two daughters, Jean Sackett of Mooresville, NC and Jane Turpin and husband, Rev. John A. Turpin of Louisville, KY; brothers, Jesse Crenshaw of Greer, SC and Clyas Crenshaw of Athens, GA; 6 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter Barbara McKenzie; 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
Funeral services will be 11 AM, Friday at Calvary Baptist Church with Revs. Larry Wilson and John A. Turpin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 10:45 Friday prior to the service at the church.
The family is at the home.
