Annie Norris Posey, 97, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2010, at Westside Living Center.
Born in Stephens County GA., a daughter of the late Milton and Mantha Weaver Norris, Mrs. Posey was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are three sons, Franklin Posey of Greenville; Minor L. Duvall of Martinez, GA; Donald R. Posey of New Mexico; one brother, Clarence Norris of Seneca; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Posey was predeceased by two husbands; one son, Melmuth Duvall; two brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Hospice Chaplain Deborah Broadwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Enon Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home prior to the service.
The family is at the home of her son, Frank Posey, 504 Gordon Street, Greenville, SC 29611.
