Annie H. Rowland

Annie Head Rowland, 83, of 143 Rowland Drive and wife of Harold M. Rowland, died Sunday, April 21, 2013.
Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late J. Arthur and Kansie Whitmire Head. She was a graduate of Central High School and was a long-time Lunch Room Manager at Central Elementary School. Annie was a member of the Central Fire Baptized Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are sons, David H. Rowland (Juanita) of Anderson, John E. Rowland (Carolyn) of Liberty, Cecil R. Rowland (Martha) and Thomas G. Rowland (Susan) both of Central; daughter, Ann Hamlin (Clint) of Seneca; brothers, Charles Head, and John Head both of Central; sisters, Lola Hawkins, Doris Riggins and Reba Drummond all of Central and Edna Cunningham of Greer; 8 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, James, Paul and Ernest Head; and sister, Lois Hightower.
Funeral services will be 3 PM, Wednesday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with burial to follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:30 PM Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
