Ansel Lawrence Boyer, 92, of 131 Tree Top Lane, husband of the late Jane Hammack Boyer, died Thursday, February 28, 2008, at Golden Living Center in Hendersonville, NC.
Born in Wayne County, MO, a son of the late William and Ida Ester Boyer, Mr. Boyer retired as an automotive attendent in Dasloge, MO, and was of the Church of God faith.
Surviving are three sons, Ivan E. Boyer of Gray Court, Larson L. Boyer of Greenville, and Robert E. Boyer of Enoree; a daughter, Shirley B. Bertoldi of Easley; and a brother, Ernest Boyer of Farmington, MO. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Boyer was predecesed by a daughter, Sylvia S. Boyer, four sisters, Etta B. Reeves, Lela B. Dixon, Lovey Mayo and Vernie Dixon; and by five grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 9, 2008, at First Assembly of God with Rev. Gordon Moore and Rev. Rogers Stephens officiating.
Visitation will be from 2:00 until 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the church, prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ansel Boyer Memorial Fund, c/o Shirley Bertoldi, 131 Tree Top Lane, Easley, SC 29642.
The family is at the residence.
