James Ansel Perry, 87, of 308 Cedar Circle, husband of the late Lois Hall Perry, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Richard Campbell Veteran�??s Nursing Home.
Born in Anderson County, a son of the late James Pickney and Roda Wilson Perry, Mr. Perry retired from ABF Freight Lines and was a member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II having served with the US Army.
Surviving are a daughter, Dianne Carter (Jim); a brother, Clarence Perry; a sister, Frances Stegall; grandchild, Todd Carter (Lisa); and 2 great-grandchildren, Matt and Kaitlyn Carter.
Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Friday, January 20, 2012 at Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 11:00 until 12:00 PM, prior to the service, at Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road.
Memorials may be made to Richard Campbell Veteran's Nursing Home at 4605 Belton Hwy., Anderson SC 29621.
