Anthony Luis Garcia
September 22, 1995 — July 18, 2021
LTJG Anthony Luis Garcia, 25, son of Luis Eduardo Garcia and Denean Barker Garcia, passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021.
Born in Chesapeake, VA, he was an active Lieutenant JG in the US Navy. He graduated from Virginia Military Institute with a degree in civil engineering. Anthony was a loving son and brother who was passionate about serving his country, enjoyed everything outdoors, lacrosse, football, wrestling, acting, and spending time with his friends and family. He was a Eagle Scout and a member of Calvary Community Church of the Nazarene in Henrietta, NY, where he was very active in the children's program.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a sister, Anna Grace Garcia of Easley; his grandmother, Nelda Barker Fraser of Easley; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 7, 2021 in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Scroll to the video player below to view the service.
The family will be hosting a second service at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Calvary Community Church of the Nazarene, 4045 E. Henrietta Road, Henrietta, NY 14467.
